Distinguished Professor Brian G. Falzon Western Sydney University Distinguished Keynote Speaker, ICAN 2027

Distinguished Professor Brian G. Falzon is Executive Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Science at Western Sydney University and an internationally recognised authority on advanced composite materials and aerospace structures. His research spans multiscale and multifunctional composites, carbon nanotube and hybrid reinforcements, fracture and damage mechanics, process modelling, crashworthiness, and certification by simulation. He has published more than 260 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters and books, and his work has influenced composite aerostructure design, failure prediction, and damage-tolerant lightweight structures for aerospace applications. A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and Royal Society of NSW, he brings deep academic and industry experience to ICAN2027.
