Founded in 2005, Harbin Hapro Electric Technology Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise based at the National University Science and Technology Park of Harbin University of Science and Technology. The company develops and manufactures instruments and equipment for polymer materials research, processing and testing, as well as specialised equipment for the wire and cable industry.

Products & Solutions

Hapro’s product portfolio includes torque rheometers, capillary rheometers, twin-screw extruders, mixers, vulcanising presses and dynamic ageing testers. Its torque rheometers can be used to investigate the thermal and shear stability, flow behaviour and processing characteristics of polymer materials, while its processing equipment supports material compounding, extrusion and formulation development. The company also supplies instruments for detecting defects and impurities in polyolefin materials.

Technology & Achievements

Drawing on expertise in mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering, Hapro combines product development with practical manufacturing experience. Its high-efficiency ultraviolet crosslinking system for low-voltage cables passed a technical appraisal organised by the Heilongjiang Provincial Machinery Industry Federation in December 2011. The company has also developed a microwave-excited ultraviolet irradiation source and proprietary technologies, methods and instruments for the ultra-clean production and cleanliness evaluation of high-voltage cable compounds.

Hapro’s products have received provincial science and technology awards, including two Second Prizes and one Third Prize in Heilongjiang Province. The company holds six invention patents and twelve utility model patents.
