Professor Huanting Wang Monash University, Australia Distinguished Keynote Speaker, ICAN 2027
Professor Huanting Wang is a Sir John Monash Distinguished Professor at Monash University, with expertise in nanomaterials, membrane science, chemical engineering and advanced composite materials. He also serves as Pro Vice-Chancellor and President (Suzhou) at Monash University and is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, and the Australian Academy of Science. He has received several prestigious awards, including the RACI R.K. Murphy Medal, the Tony Fane Award and the IChemE Underwood Medal, and has been recognised as an Australian Research Council (ARC) Laureate Fellow and a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher. His research is relevant to ICAN 2027 through its focus on nanostructured materials, metal–organic frameworks, polymer composite membranes and advanced separation technologies. He has made significant contributions to the development of functional membranes and nanocomposites for gas separation, water purification, chiral separation, ion transport and sustainable energy applications. His work supports ICAN 2027 themes in advanced nanocomposites, functional materials, membrane technologies and the development of high-performance materials for environmental and energy applications.
